INTENTIONAL ART CIRCLES

Online & In-person workshops

A WEEKLY GUIDED ART PROCESS TO ACCESS YOUR INNER ARTIST
ONLINE ZOOM CLASSES HELD ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Lion

The creation of visual art is a practice of meaningful expression.

It is a process which intimately reflects the inner world of the artist, rich in symbolism and significance.

Art-making strengthens our capacity to connect to the infinitely wise field of creative consciousness that lives within each of us.

It develops our ability to understand the seemingly abstract elements of life in a more meaningful way.

INTENTIONAL ART CIRCLES ARE THE CREATION OF HAYLEE CLARE.

THESE SESSIONS INTRODUCE THE CREATIVE PRACTICE THAT SHE DEVELOPED IN THE PROCESS OF PAINTING THE SHADOWS OF LIGHT ORACLE DECK.

These workshops offer a focused environment where we drop our conditioned perceptions of what “good art” looks like, and our goal-oriented attitudes toward creativity.

This is a themed space for visual expression where participants are guided, supported and held accountable as they devote 100% of their attention toward making art.

Haylee assists in navigating any challenges or triggers that arise (such as self-criticism) that are obstructing the artistic capacity of participants, and hold a space for the activation of flow-state.

EACH 3 HOUR WORKSHOP INVOLVES:

DISCUSSION OF THEME which changes weekly.

CHANNELLING MEDITATION to drop out of the mind and open the creative channel.

FOCUSSED ART-MAKING SESSIONS where participants are asked to refrain from all distractions and concentrate on expressing the given theme.

SELF INQUIRY & JOURNALING to process the experience, translate & integrate the deeper understandings represented within the work.

ART MATERIALS

This container teaches an accessible process for approaching art making with any medium, not techniques for how to draw or paint in a certain way.

You will choose your own materials for this class (such as pen, charcoal, paint, clay, carving, printmaking etc.)

If you work with a digital resource like collaging on Photoshop this is welcome, but if you find that being on your computer is your comfort zone, you may want to try to access your creative channel through experimentation with traditional art materials.

Ideally, you are able to finish the artwork within the 3 hour session, so that your work does not remain incomplete. Keep that in mind when choosing the size of your paper or canvas, I enjoy working with A4 paper for this timeframe.
